Have Paris booked for romantic long weekend at end of April, any recommendations on small budget?
Hoping to pop the question too so money saved on trip goes to nicer ring hence lower budget!!!
Hotel and flights booked so just in relation to what to do and where to go when there! cheers!
That’s so romantic. On May, 1 there are a lot of festivals in Paris. Especially between the Bastille and Nation. All over Paris, they sell some lily of the valley on that day. Between March and June, there is also a big carnival (the biggest in Paris) called Foire du Trone at Pelouse de Reully at Bois de Vincennes.
France is famous for their excellent cuisine. Try to avoid tourist traps.

Or – an institution: Le slow-Club – the oldest Jazz Club in Paris, 130 Rue de Rivoli (Metro Chatelet) everyday except Saturday and Monday.
Did you ever went to a spherical, ball shaped Cinema? If not, La Geode at the Parc de la Vilette is spectacular! 26 Avenue Corentin-Cariou (Metro: Porte de la Villette) “order in advance is recommended!!

How about a picnic at the Seine shore? You could buy some delicious French bread, Vine, etc. and a authentic beret for the two of you and just enjoy the beautiful surrounding…..
Don’t miss the catacomb’s and, I know it sounds strange but do not miss the Montparnasse Cemetery, a peaceful and wonderful place were you not only find the last home of the sculptor Frédéric Bartholdi who sculptured Miss Liberty, Jean Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, Charles Baudelaire……..
