Great Weekend getaways suggestions?
Its a last minute thing….
My boyfriend would like to get away this weekend, but it is raining here the whole weekend. We never get a chance to go away together, and he has suggested taking a flight out someplace fun and romantic. We looked in to vegas, but the last minute flights are really expensive. I was wondering if any one could suggest a great city to visit, with plenty to do for a couples get away.
please be reasonable, and keep it within the US. We are from VA, and have to be back Sunday night. CA is not an option, we are taking a trip there this summer. Thanks for all replies
Austin Texas check out the texas country music and bbq’s walk up and down 6th street nonstop bars for younger folks or if you are a more mature couple not necessarily old but early 30′s on up go down 4th street older people bars quieter scenes but not so quiet that you are bored 5th street has bars too each street has something you can walk around anywhere in town they have coffee shops, live music, walk along the river its really beautiful
