last minute travel prices – All inclusive resorts?

hello,
I am planning on travelling during Spring Break (last week of march) and we were thinking about doing a last minute price. I have been doing research on various hotels and tours just trying to get an idea about what to do. Has anyone travelled this way and what were the prices compared to regular prices?

My experience is that if there is a big holiday period like Spring Break, your opportunities for discounts will be much less than during non event periods. IF you get a really good deal, you may be getting a sub par property. Location will be another determining factor. Spring Break popular areas like Cancun may not be offering the same deals as AI resorts in Jamaica or Punta Cana for example. One other thing about trying to do last minute is that you may be able to get the resort as somewhat of a discount but you may be paying high prices for airfare.
