I’m trying to plan a cruise for my 2011 high school seniors..i need some help!!?
Ok, my school is located in the heart of downtown atlanta…I’m trying to schedule and plan a cruise for about 150 seniors next year in the spring or summer (4-6 days) and i’m trying to leave from any port that’s close by like florida or south carolina. So..I need a estimate for a mortor coach (I’ve tried and its hard!!) and a cruise estimate for 150 people if there are four people to a room.
Well, the fortunate thing is that you will qualify for some group rates, which will likely be cheaper. You will need to book 38 cabins total, if you can get that many quadruple occupancy. Motorcoach isn’t going to be all that difficult but should be left until you book the cruise cabins. However, it may be somewhat difficult to book a cruise for that many students. It will depend on the policies for the line. Also, how many chaparones will you have? Before you can really get an idea on cost of the cruise itself you need to know how many inside and outside cabins you need. Each person will need to pay an individual deposit sometime between March and May of this year. It is best you work with a travel agent that knows how to handle group booking, and all the better if they are certified in your cruise line of choice(I suggest Carnival, Royal Caribbean, or NCL for your group, as they are the best suited for teens).
