Holland America Cruise for 19 y/o?
My family found a great deal on Holland America for a 7 day Mexican Rivera cruise in January, it was alot cheaper than Royal Caribbean. But Ive heard that the crowd on HAL is older, I’ve been on RCL and really enjoyed the atmosphere but Im wondering if I will enjoy the more upscale environment of HAL?
HAL is very different than Royal Caribbean. There is no rock climbing, ice skating, etc. If that’s your idea of fun, stick with Royal Caribbean. HAL’s typical clientele is older and the ships are generally quieter. Nevertheless, you’ll still be heading to the Mexican Rivera so as long as you have a good attitude and appreciate your good fortune to be on vacation, you’ll have a fine time.
