Romantic Getaways Las Vegas

Any tips for travelling to Las Vegas?

I’m going to Vegas in the coming months with my husband for a romantic getaway without our son. We are both in our mid 20′s and would love to take a day tour to Hoover Dam/Lake Mead/GRAND CANYON. there are so many companies for that though and we want a reputable company so we know we’re going to actually go down and see the canyon and the damn, etc. We are willing to pay for it if it’s worth the money, but we’re hoping for a bus tour.
Other then that any shows you can recommend? Any other info is much appreciated! Thanks!

Las Vegas is chock full of fun and things to do. Here’s a guide I utilized when I traveled there…I found it to be very helpful:

Mike Figgis’ grim drama documents a romantic triangle of sorts involving prostitute Sera (Elisabeth Shue), failed Hollywood screenwriter Ben (Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage), and the constant flow of booze which he loves more dearly than life itself. Arriving in Las Vegas with the intention of drinking himself to death, Ben meets Sera, and they gradually begin falling for one another. From the outset, however, Ben warns Sera that no matter what, she can never ask him to quit drinking, a condition to which she grudgingly agrees. A darkly comic tragedy, Leaving Las Vegas charts the brief romantic convergence of two desperately needy people who together find a brief flicker of happiness. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
