Is it possible to visit the Norwegian fjords in Winter?
I’m thinking of going to Norway in December but don’t know if it’s possible to visit the fjords at that time of year or if the cruise ships are running then? And if so, are there short day trip or two day cruises available from Bergen?
Most of the tours run May – September, but the Norway in a Nutshell tour can be done any time of year.

The weather this time of year is very grey and rainy, so it’s possible you won’t be able to see much of Sognefjord due to fog/rain. Make sure you check the conditions with the tourist bureau before you go. However, Voss is really nice in winter (especially if you like skiing).
You could also take Hurtigruten up the coast to somewhere like Ålesund and back. It has a few stops in between, which would let you see a few other Norwegian cities.
