How to go on a cruise with kids?
I have a 10 month old and a 3 year old. My husband has decided he wants to go on a cruise, but I would rather wait. He says he’s going with or without me LOL, so I am stuck with going. Any tips or information? Thanks.
Totally agree with Mary. I wouldn’t even take the 3-year-old if you have the alternative to leave him/her with grandma. It won’t be very relaxing for you to be stuck 24/7 with two small kids in a tiny cabin. It will be difficult for you to have dinners in the dining room, as they take up to two hours or more and kids obviously can’t sit still that long. Excursions will be a pain, because they aren’t going to be interested in anything that’s offered on excursions. You’ll also need to slather them with sunscreen or keep them covered up [too hot!], etc., etc.
If the younger child were three I might say “try it”, but not with an infant and a toddler. Especially if your husband is the type to say he’ll go without you – doesn’t sound like he’ll be very supportive in looking after the kids.
