International Flight Tickets

international flight tickets
Anyone know of a good website to find cheap airline tickets for international flight to China?

I’m a student.

I usually use Orbitz “Flexible Date”. They provide the easiest and best chance. It takes a few minutes to get used to, but it is the broadest search available right now on the Internet (www.orbitz.com). Yahoo Travel use to allow you to find the best price for a broad span (almost 6 months), but now it is confined to US and Canada (www.travel.yahoo.com).

Another way you might find low fares, as you mentioned you’re a student, is searching “Student Travel” or “Student air fares” in Yahoo. Some sites provide lower fares for student, but be prepared to accumulate some “paperwork”, such as, copy of ID, semester program, etc. (www.statravel.com).

Other than that, I would try American NetSAAver specials at www.aa.com. Almost all the time, they have specials for China at less than $900, and if you are a AAdvantage (American’s frequent flyer program) you could accumulate double miles, and instantly have a free ticket for another trip once you’ve finished travelling to China. (www.aa.com)

As always, try weekday outbound and inbound flights, since they are cheaper than weekends.

American Airlines Flight 11

American Airlines Flight 11

American Airlines Flight 11 was a scheduled U.S. domestic passenger flight from Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, to Los Angeles International Airport. It was hijacked by five Islamic terrorists and deliberately crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City as part of the September 11, 2001, attacks. Fifteen minutes into the flight, the hijackers injured at least three people, forcefully breached the cockpit, and overpowered the pilot and first officer. Mohamed Atta, who was a known member of alQaeda, and trained as a pilot, took over the controls. Air traffic controllers noticed the flight was in distress when the crew stopped responding to them. They realized the flight had been hijacked when Atta mistakenly transmitted announcements for passengers to air traffic control. On board, two flight attendants contacted American Airlines, and provided information about the hijackers and injuries to passengers and crew. The aircraft crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 08:46 local time; the impact killed all 92 people aboard, including the hijackers. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles USAir Flight 1493 was a scheduled United States (US) domestic passenger flight from Syracuse Hancock International Airport, New York to San Francisco International Airport, California that collided with SkyWest Flight 5569 upon landing at a scheduled stopover at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The evening of February 1, 1991 saw slow to moderate air traffic at LAX, but as the USAir 737 was on final approach, there were a series of abnormalities that occurred to distract the local controller, including an aircraft that inadvertently switched off the tower frequency and a misplaced flight progress strip which resulted in the SkyWest Metroliner being told to taxi into takeoff position while the USAir flight was landing on the same runway without the Metroliner ever being given a takeoff clearance.
