i don’t care if it is a bed and breakfast or hotel, anything that is not ridiculously expensive and preferably has a hot tub in the room

Check out the Chateau Avalon. It’s just over the state line in Kansas City KS. Prices are considerably lower during the week – although the weekend rates are fairly reasonable for one night (depending on the size of room you get). Huge jetted tubs in the room .. a very romantic getaway!
