Some will say celebrating love; others will say it’s about relaxing and getting away, which both are good answers. However, what the honeymoon is really about is life.

This vacation is all about creating life. Why do you think couples do things they’ve never done before, or go to places they’ve never been before? Because this trip is about creating a memory that will last forever.

Honeymoons come in all shapes, forms, and fashions and no one vacation is better than the other, because there are different things which make each person happy.

This is about sharing something new and experiencing the world in ways you always dreamed. And because everything is so new and fresh there is a nervousness that comes along with this vacation. Couples want this to be perfect; sun shining, cool breeze, beautiful beaches, delicious food, and tropical drinks. Candle lit dinners; fine wine, plush suites decorated in rose petals, couples want all of this. Why? Because this is what love is all about.

This is what living really is and for one time in every person’s life he or she wants to live!

So to have a better honeymoon you need to recognize this fact and embrace new experiences. The one thing you can do to have a better vacation is focus on controlling what you can control and not stressing over the things you can’t. Simple, right?

All things happen by the will of the Lord. I’m not about to preach to you, but there are more things in life in which you don’t have any control over than things you do.

Understand when things are new they will be different. Go with the flow.

Don’t try to plan every second of every day, leave room for something to mess up. Expect something to go wrong so when something is not according to plan you won’t be thrown off so much.

You are in love and there are a lot of new things going on, grab hold of this fact and live life like it’s supposed to be, enjoy yourself, and embrace new experiences; that my friend is the secret!
