THE DAUNTING TRAVEL BUDGET…plz help!!?
hey all just a question about how much cash i need to take for a 3 week holiday to thailand in june.
being a 20 y.o australian guy i need to know how much i should live off a day to have a great time.
iv been reading similar Q&As and they all seem to say that it depends on how big you want to go and how much you want to spend so i think i should highlight what kind of getaway i want to have
being a young guy i want to get out on the town pretty much every night and party up big. and i don’t need a 5 star hotel but i do want to live fairly comfortably. i will only be in bangkok for 4 nights max and the rest will be around smaller towns up north and then head down to pukhet for a week..
so i have budgeted 5500 baht a day. is this enough to have a have a good time and cover food accommodation and party ?

5500 Baht a day is a very comfortable budget to have, although you may find you spend less some days. If you where prepared to spend 5500 Baht a day you could stay in a nice hotel, party, drink, get girls etc. – you may also have enough to go on some trips/excisions, buy souvenirs and other things too.
Although things in Thailand can be made very cheap if necessary, it is also very easy to spend big too, especially if you are in the company of a lady and need to take care of her thoughout the night so be care full in that respect.
All in all, you shouldn’t have any problems with your budget. I usually budget 5000 Baht a day when i visit Thailand and that pretty much covers me for EVERYTHING.
