How much do you get paid to perform for Disney or other resorts/cruises/, etc.?
I’d love to audition to be a dancer in one of the shows that a fun theme park like Disney puts on! Any ideas on how much you get paid to do that kind of stuff?
I think that will depend on what role your actually playing. You will have to go through the audition process and be offered a role. I know entry level positions at Disneyland range from about $8.00 and hour to about $12.00 and hour depending on the job. I have heard talent is paid much better but you can bet that someone playing Jasmin or Aladdin are going to make quite a bit more than someone playing one of the lesser characters. And it may depend on the person also, one person may receive a better offer than another person due to experience and abilities so I don’t think there is going to be a set salary for talent, just a salary range. You best bet is to contact Disney at www.disney.go.com and corporate info, Careers, call the job line and find out about auditions,or if your local go to the casting office.
Also, WDW and cruises I would expect to pay a little less, S Cal is expensive so salarys are a bit higher.
