Is a cruise to Hawaii just as nice as flying to Hawaii and staying in a hotel. We are going for a week?
My husband and I have been married for almost 5 years and we never had a real honeymoon. We are planning on having our first baby and want to go to Hawaii first (hopefully conceive there). The problem is that my husband is terrified of flying. (otherwise we would go to Italy). We decised that a cruise would be nice. Would we miss out a lot by going on a cruise? Would we still get time in Hawaii?
We’ve never been on a cruise before.
My husband and I took a Hawaiian cruise for our honeymoon. We didn’t take the one where we could leave from here and cruise over to Hawaii. However, I believe the cruise is the same once you GET to Hawaii, whether you start here or there. We had a wonderful time, the cruise went to several different islands, so we got to see much more than just going to one island and only seeing that one. We took tours that the cruise ship offered, one each day, so we could see more than just the dock, WalMart and Hilo Hattie’s (there are buses at the docks to take you to WalMart and Hilo Hattie’s, it’s really quite funny). It left us plenty of time to do other things, and still do fun things on the ship as well. I highly recommend the cruise, if your finances can swing it. Good luck and Aloha!
