Cruise From Boston

cruise from boston
I’m looking for a cruise to Bermuda from Boston leaving between July – August of 2010…?

I’ve been trying hard to find some good deals, because
instead of doing the whole Baha thing for Spring Break me and
a couple of my friends wanna do a cruise in July or August of next
summer….can some one help me find some deals, appreciate it.

First you need to take a look at the cruises scheduled to leave from Boston to Bermuda next year: http://www.massport.com/ports/cruis.html
This is the calendar for 2010 : http://www.massport.com/ports/pdf/Schedule_10.pdf
It shows that you have one option for a cruise line departing from Boston, Norwegian Cruise line on the NCL Spirit. These are your date options and prices: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/booking/cruisedetails.html?packageId=1912851

The lowest priced date is the last week of August.

Now if you would consider taking a train or plane down to NY you have more options. You can cruise from there on NCL: http://www.ncl.com/nclweb/booking/cruisedetails.html?packageId=1912831

OR, cruise from Royal Caribbean’s cruise port in Bayonne, NJ you would have these dates and options: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cruiseDetails/itineraryAndPricing.do;jsessionid=00005TXBlRklhs0hpmxwFSWu7bc:12hdhu87a?packageCode=EX05B024&region=BERMU&ship=ANY&date=ANY&selectedCurrencyCode=USD&promoType=&hasSenior=&hasMilitary=&hasFireandPolice=&state=

OR, you can cruise on Celebrity Cruise line, one of the top cruise lines, with these options: http://www.celebritycruises.com/search/vacationItinerary.do;jsessionid=0000NhIjt9U0wQkzkaVPEyrZHOY:12hdbcveb?packageCode=SM07B012&backPageName=Itinerary+Search+Results

The lowest priced cruise line is Carnival but they do not do Bermuda cruises. Also note when looking at these prices that some cruises are 7 days and other are 5 days. I have cruised to Bermuda twice and both times from NY/NJ ports. A 5-day cruise is plenty enough time to see the few sights in Bermuda and enjoy the great beaches. Bermuda is NOT a party place with lots of pubs and places to hang out. It has some but you’ll not be doing a lot of bar hopping there. The main activities there are beaches and water sports. Just saying that so you know what to expect. Also, the island is small, 22 miles long and it does not really matter whether your ship docks in St George or the Kings Wharf (Dockyard); the two destinations in Bermuda you’ll see listed. You’ll still be pretty close to a beach and it does not take long to go anywhere on the island by public transportation. The island has a great transportation system; I have used it both times there to get to beaches and sightsee.
