My boyfriend is going to ex wife’s parents house for weekend trip?
I am dating my boyfriend over a year. We started living together a month ago. He has 3 kids & ex wife (kids are living with their mom most of the time). I am pretty much cool about his ex and try not to get involved with their stuff because they have kids and they need to keep in touch everyday base. Time to time my boyfriend gets involved her too much… like today without telling me anything, he planed to go to visit her parent’s house for weekend w/their kids. Accidentaly I heard that when he was asking about his schedule to his assistant. Then I asked him “I didn’t know you are going away??” Ended up he got angry with me! At least he could tell me about that before he decides, I might understand he just wanna have quality time w/family… but he always decides the plans especially with ex-wife without telling me. Am I just a jelouse person? I believe there is a wrong picture. and I know she still wanna get back to him!!
Well I think he should of told you about his plans. THat is for sure.
But also he divorced his wife, that doesnt mean he divorced her family to. Why is it that most people think that because 2 people get divorced that they should no longer be around that side of the family. I think that they are showing some good traits for the kids. Yes I would see where everyone is going to be sleeping but I would also see about you going with him. Do you think you guys are that serious that you might get married?
My husband and I have 3 kids together and I talk to his mother at least 2-3 times a week, if not more. I talk to his sisters and email his brother and his wife. I couldnt even imagine “divorcing” his family to if me and hubby were to get divorced, they are my family now. And I would be invited to family functions and I would go with or without a new boyfriend or SO but I also would tell my other fellow about it.
