My bf and i want to go to costa rica but we are on a tight budget. help!?
We are pretty adventurous people. we’ve been 2gether for 2 years now. i love to travel and so does he, but because of our financial problems last year, the only travel that we’ve had was a cruise with his family last christmas. we are eager to go by ourselves so we can really have fun. we like to hang out with the locals, eat local food, see nature, buy some souveniers like art (not the comercial stuff), we surf, kayak and would love to do the canopy and water raft. eventough we are getting out of the economic hole we were last year we are still watching our finances carefully. i will have a week off in december 2011 and would love to start planning a trip to costa rica. we live in Puerto Rico so i assume we would need to save for airfare also. any suggestions on how to keep it simple yet goog enough for adventurous “honeymooners-like”. really aprecciate any real suggestions of people that have had this same trip before! costa rica!! thank u!
Go to Puerto Viejo, CR and stay at the http://www.rockingjs.com/ its only $12 a night and A great town. Also head south to Panama , Bocas del torro That is even cheaper . Have Fun
