Cheap Mexican Cruises

What to do in Cozumel and Calica Mexico?

I’m going on a carnival cruise out of mobile,AL on nov 2nd-7th the ship is stopping at Cozumel and Calica. Me and the 3 friends that are going are 21+. We were wondering what there is to do that is cheap :) Shopping? Excursions? Places we definitly need to visit while were there? Is there a mexican walmart? haha. Sorry for all the questions within the question I’m just so excited!

Cozumel- great scuba and snorkeling. Rent a jeep and drive to the east side of the island. Miles and miles of untouched beach with an occasional bar. But, be careful not to swim.

Calica is the port and it’s just south of Playa Del Carmen. Take the excursion to Tulum/Xel-ha. Tulum is the site of the ancient mayan ruins and Xel-ha is an eco/water park nearby. If you don’t like ruins, go to Xcaret, an eco water park with an underground (cenote) river to float in. There is a also a zoo and a butterfly sanctuary. You can swim with dolphins at either Xel-ha or Xcaret.

The town of Playa has endless shopping and a great beach. You will love it. btw there is a walmart in PDC, but it’s just like the ones in the US.
