Cheapest international flight?
I’m looking to fly to Europe for relatively cheap. But I only live by a medium sized airport, New Orleans (MSY). The cheapest flight I’m looking at is over $1000, one way. But then I looked at a MSY to JFK flight ($130) and a JFK to London flight ($350). So its about half the price. Is it feasible to do this? And how much extra work would it be?
If anyone knows or has any previous experience, it would greatly be appreciated.
If you’re buying two separate one-way tickets, when you get to JFK you will have to leave the secured area of the airport, retrieve your baggage, most likely change terminals, and go through the check-in and security processes again. You’ll need a BIG layover to do all that.
