Is the cost of a luxury cruise worth it?
Is the extra expense – which can be substantial – really worth it? Or is it a better value to go to a luxury resort? I have been on a Royal Caribbean cruise and thought it was just OK. What I really value are dining/food quality and overall service…
Can anyone make any reccomendations from past experience? Thanks
Well it all depends. Some people go on cruises just to be on a boat, Plus the luxury that the smaller ship have to offer. Royal Carribean is like you said an OK ship, but it is also a larger ship. Small ships like cunard and windstar are smaller ships and are more luxurious and offers that High Quality dining and Hospitality service that you seek.
If you just love the environment of being on a ship and sailing to various ports, I say its worth the extra. Just dont spend out of your set budget…
But If the you want to save and still get the same great service, a luxury resort might be a better option for you.
