Most people think that planning way in advance will ensure that you get the best prices.  Well this is true, however, and that is a big however, there’s a bit of a twist to add.  Booking last minute can land you some awesome discounts as well.  You may save as much as 65 – 75% off with some last minute deals.

Knowing when to travel is crucial in getting the best deal.  When you think of the Carribean, you automatically think of a warm and tropical climate right?  Of course you do and you are absolutely correct.  When travelers want to escape the cold weather during the winter months, they travel to the Caribbean where it is nice and warm.  The resort owners are fully aware of this patterns and as a result, guess what happens? Right again, the prices shoot up.  Therefore, although the escape from the snow and cold weather might be enticing, your checkbook will love you better if you go when the weather is warmer in the states.

So here is the best part.  Where and how you book means a lot.  You will find better deals online then you would going to a local travel agent or even if you seal your deal over the phone.  As you know, there are a zillion travel sites available but some are a whole lot better and safer than others.  Travelocity and Expedia have some really great deals.
