Years ago, for my 28th birthday (which is at the end of Dec), my husband took me skiing to Holiday Valley in NY..we spent a couple days skiing and on New Years he took me to the Gin Mill which was an absolute blast! He topped it off by giving me diamond earings. He was so generous and thoughtful about the whole thing. I thought the trip was a big enough suprise, then to give me diamond earings on top of that…it was too much but made me feel like a million bucks. I will never forget it. Those are the only earings I have ever worn since.
