after arriving in seward or whittier at the end of an alaskan northbound cruise, how do you get to anchorage?
what is the best way to get from these port cities to anchorage? i am not planning a land tour so what are my choices? what did you do and how did you like it? what was the cost? did you rent a car, take a bus, take a train? can you arrange in advance? thanks.
I have done the cruisetour many times. When you dock at Whitter there is of course the train. For those ending their cruise if you are going to Anchorage Airport there are buses, taxi’s. If you are going to airport this would be what is called ground transportation in your cruise brochure. Even if you are going to airport you can make arrangements with the cruise line for transportation to your next stop.
