the best alaskan cruise?
looking for people who have recently cruised to alaska, does anyone have any recommendations for what cruise line to go through? glacier bay is a must, balcony, and sailing from either seattle washington or vancouver.
I have sailed to Alaska 31 times on 3 different lines, Holland, Norwegian & Princess & from Seattle & Vancouver. For a 7 day cruise all lines pretty much stop at the same ports of call. Yes, the Glaciers are a must. A Balcony For me is a waste of money. Ask yourself How much time are you going to spend in your Cabin with a limited view? Views are 360 on deck. The money you save could be well spent on an excursion.
Princess really stands out when it comes to their cruise tours. They are the only line to put you up in 5 star lodges & the National Parks are a must.
All lines do their best when it comes to service, food,entertainment, etc but, Alaska is more about the Scenery, Wildlife, Culture. History, Ports of Call & the amazing people you will meet from around the world.
Princess & Holland as well as others are running specials now. Not to early to book.
