Best Alaska Trip

I am wanting to surprise my husband with a trip to alaska! Can anyone tell when is the best time to travel.?

Also would you suggest a cruise?

Cruises up here are awesome! (I live up here by the way) I personally recommend summer for cruises. If you want to do the winter activities, winter is the way to go. (obviously)

Summer cruises-Whittier to Vancouver or Seward to Vancouver are really good. (try to take the train there) Princess tours are what I’m used to using.

Summer activities-Hiking, glacier hikes, camping, hunting, kayaking, white river rafting, fishing, sight seeing. to name a few

Winter activities- Snowboarding/Skiing, sledding, ice skating. The Alyeska Resort is really nice. I love staying there.
