How do I beat my fear of ships?
I know this is kind of dumb, but I am afraid of going on a cruise ship. Because of the titanic. And in Feb. I might go on one. Even though it’s not in Arctic water (like titanic) it’s still in the carribean, and I some how have my mind set there are good chances of me sinking and getting eaten alive by sharks. I really want to enjoy myself, but I am really afraid. How can I face my fears?
When is the last time you have heard of a cruise ship sinking? The titanic was almost 100 years ago!
They are very safe these days. I would be more worried about getting sick, than sinking. Or eating too much, or partying too much and having a hangover, or having too much fun and being too tired the next day, or getting sun burn from sitting out all day, etc.. You get the point.
Cruises are so much fun, that you shouldnt worry about something as unlikely as the ship sinking. After all, there are tons of cruise ships out there, and every one is out to sea every day of the year.
