Alaskan Cruise – Holland America Line and Zaandam?

Me and my fiance’ are planning to take an Alaskan cruise tour with Holland America for our honeymoon and i was wondering if anyone had been on their ship the Zaandam and what your experience was like.

I haven’t been on this particular ship, but I have gone on a Holland America cruise before and had such a great time. I would definitely recommend this cruise line.

It seemed like the majority of the people on the cruise were older (retirement age), but that didn’t bother me at all. If you and your fiance are into socializing with a younger crowd, you may want to consider a different cruise line. However, I found that the older people on the cruise were friendly and were there to have a good time just like I was, so I didn’t regret it at all.

Alaskan Honeymoon Adventure $9.00 Elaine and her husband (Campbell) went to hunt caribou, but also killed a black bear and saw lots of other wildlife. They also took a chartered fishing boat to fish for cod and halibut. She does a good job describing the weather, and the silence and beauty of Alaska.
