Summer work oppotunities abroad?
I am a college student that lives in Wisconsin. Next summer I would like to do something significant other than just stay home and I would also like to save some money while doing it. Ive done a little research and found a few intriguing opportunities.
Ive found that many college students travel to Alaska for summer jobs for their fishing industry. Many people travel there for the summer and work in a cannery or on fishing boats. These jobs look the best because many offer free transportation and rooms to stay. Also, could be some job opportunities on Alaskan cruise ships which would allow me to travel a bit.
My question is what are some other jobs like these that I could look into? Also, If you have and other information on the Alskan jobs that would be great.
Alaska is not really abroad; but yeah – you can do that.
or, volunteer at a New York homeless shelter or something ;i recommend doing what you love – if you love animals, help rescue animals with ASPCA, if you love football, go work with a football coach, love film? go to Hollywood looking for a good starter – in other words, prepare yourself for the future by doing what you love.
