what is the best way to visit alaska in June? cruise or road trip?
It depends a little on what you want to do. On a cruise-ship you’re somewhat bound to the ship, while on a road-trip you can go wherever you like. So, if you’re into hiking and other outdoorsy-activities you might be happier with a road-trip, if you just wanna kick-back and relax the cruise might be the way to go.
Keep in mind that you won’t be able to see the scenery in a car that you get to see on a boat (and the other way around). You really get to experience to different sides of Alaska with those two modes of travel. And they’re equally worth experiencing:)
