Is Canada handing out drugs?
Some friends of mine just got married and they went on an Alaska cruise for their honeymoon. While in Canada, a tour guide they had told them that Canada just passed a new law stating that the government is “handing out” any drugs you want from weed to heroin. The reason behind it? He said it was to bring down crime. No more drug dealers, no more theft for drug money, etc. Can anyone confirm or deny?
Im not sure what the tour was for. It was friends of mine who went.
False, Canada allows medical marijuana and has in certain areas, injection sites for junkies where they are supplied needles to help curb the spread of HIV but as a general rule, drugs are still illegal, your tour guide was sadly mistaken.
