Safety of some excursions during Alaska cruise?
Is there any reason to be concerned about animal (e.g., bear) attacks during alaska cruise excursions like hiking adventures for 6 hours, etc. Will the tour leaders have weapons etc if necesarry. Just askin…thanks
If you’re concerned – don’t be. The guides employed by the companies used by the cruise lines are experienced outdoors folk and are more than knowledgeable about how to minimize the risk of a bear or other wild animal attack.
