Is Arctic Air Academy in Palmer, Alaska a good school to get my private pilots license?
I would say yes as long as your instructors credentials are in line and their acft are in good shape. Driving the Glenn 500 into Anchorage wouldn’t be worth it. Driving out to Wasilla wouldn’t be worth it. I guess you dont have a choice. Just start taking lessons, pay as you go, and give it a try! I drive by that airport alot on the way to PJMS, send me an email.
